ibm thinkpad r40 problem

hy there i got a problem with my notebook i receive a message : "to interrupt normal startup press the blue ibm button" and i press it and he does nothing he`s just not starting i tried to install windows on it but it doesn`t seem to work i pressed all buttons on it ...nothing please help me ...

keyboard issue

secondary keys activated (j=1, k=2, m=0...)how do i set to normal...

R40 password

password won't work after replacing the back-up battery...
