Grand Cherokee 2002, 2.7 dizel

Hi, My jeep cherokee does not want to start,the battery is 12.5v., the starter go but the engine not,,, on the dashboard there is a light on " gages" Could you tell me what is the problem and is it possible to use vad-com for a diagnostic, if not, tell me what kind of software I have to use? Thanks in advance Mr. E. Davkov...
